Sharing Out connects neighbors with neighbors and businesses (local restaurants, grocery stores, catering service providers, and any other food donors), so the surplus food can be saved by sharing instead of wasting.
As a result, food rescuers eat great food for free or less, and households and businesses receive recognition or an additional revenue stream. This could be leftover, unused/ unsold food at home, restaurants, parties, functions, and events and could be food nearing its best before date in local stores, bread from bakers, spare home vegetables, or the groceries in your fridge when you go away.
Our solution is simple; all food rescue opportunities listed on the Sharing Out app and food rescuer simply sign up and log on to the app to rescue food. The app has all the details of food secured/ donated, food donors, and food rescuer, or insecure families. By leveraging a digital solution, Sharing Out creates a food sharing and rescue ecosystem, made up of the households, food industry, charities, and supporting industry to minimize food waste in Pakistan. We’re launching in Rawalpindi and Islamabad first, and we’d love to hear from you. Drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org, or email@example.com for business inquiries.
